Critter Up and Running

Apple fixed their problem with the developers' portion of their website so I downloaded XCode. After a long battle with the BSD level of OS X, I can now run the program required to compile the C files for the Critter board. Most of the problem was a poorly updated installation instructions page. After tracking down the file I noticed that the version number had change and I was calling up the program by the wrong name. I thought it an odd choice to add the version number into the program's name.

Hopefully tomorrow I will have a working example to upload to the website and youTube.

So, I need Xcode to run the software to run the software to install the software for critter. I cannot use the old xCode yet cannot download the new one. I love poorly designed open source. Wasn't the point of open source that I do not have to install twenty five things to run one? Anyway, I am going to run my gesture sensor on the Arduino Mini next week and see if there are any differences.

The Waiting

So I have been waiting and waiting and waiting to get the USB part of my critter board. It is finally on its way. So hopefully soon some critter experiments. I have not played much with my arduino mini yet but I will post something up soon.
